Ante la aparición del servicio de micro-blogging Twitter ha aparecido el Qwitter para detectar quien deja de seguirte. La cuestión es ¿Por que dejar de seguir en Twitter? ¿Cuales son los motivos principales?

Cómo funciona Twitter
Twitter hace las veces de red social y de panel para escribir entradas de texto con una longitud máxima de 140 caracteres. Cómo usuario tienes la opción de proteger el acceso a lo que escribes o dejarlo público (opción por defecto). Los usuarios que quieren leer lo que escribes te siguen pulsando “follow” y si han decidido no leerte más pulsan “unfollow”.

Que se cuenta por ahí
Algunos se han dado cuenta que estan siguiendo a demasiada gente y otros les molesta las actualizaciones automáticas de los blogs.
También hay el que hace unfollow si le hacen unfollow.

¿Por que dejar de seguir en Twitter?
Basándome en Top 10 List of People to Unfollow on Twitter realizé una encuesta para ver los motivos que tienen los propios usuarios de twitter para dejar de seguir a un usuario y se añadió “Ignora tus comentarios” por un comentario de @javiergracia.

Los 3 motivos principales
1. “Esta referenciando siempre su página o envía dm no deseados”
2. “Te ha hecho un follow y después un unfollow”
3. Empate técnico entre “Da lecciones sin atender a razones” e “Ignora tus comentarios”
